Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1992 Pontiac Firebird V6 with T-tops. I originally bought this as a project that I never got around to. I am selling this with no Reserve and with a starting price of MUCH less than I have in it. This car will need to be hauled to its final location, and can remain here for up to one month for you to arrange for shipping, and the car will be paid for before it leaves. I will be available to help load the vehicle on your trailer. Now about the car; The good: This car runs ok and moves under it's own power, but I don't have enough miles on it to even say if there is anything mechanically wrong with it. It has a clear Nebraska Title and I have it in hand, buyer will receive the title after payment has cleared. The T-tops seem to be in good condition and don't leak that I have noticed. I have purchased a couple replacement parts, a new pair of taillights, and a light trim piece, and these will go with the car. The Bad: The interior is in decent condition for its age and mileage, but it needs a VERY good cleaning and quite a few repairs. There is some sort of grease on the back foot well carpet, and what looks like a couple cigarette burns in the headliner and seats. The panel for underneath the steering wheel has been removed and is in the back. The gauges keep blowing the fuse and I have no idea why. The center console seems to have been taken apart and not put back together properly as the shift boot isn't connected and there is a crack in it. I don't have the faceplate to the radio and it looks like someone put in a stereo at sometime in the past. The original radio is also in the back, but I have no Idea if it works. The tires are holding air, but they are probably only about 25% tread and are weather checked. Also only one of the headlights pops up when turned on. The Ugly: The exterior looks like the typical 20 year old car as far as body goes with all the usual dents and dings and scratches. The taillight is broken out, but as mentioned above I have a spare pair that will go with the vehicle. This car will probably need a new hood, fenders, and bumper cover as you can see in the photos. Also the lights in the bumper are broken out. You are very much getting a project car with this one, it is definitely not a car that you can jump in and go. Look very closely at these pictures, what you see is what you get. Feel free to ask any questions or for additional pictures. Thanks for looking, happy bidding.
