Vehicle Detail

HISTORY: I purchased this vehicle in 2000 from seller, second owner, in Cincinnati, Ohio for $85,000 with 28,000 miles on the odometer. Cincinnati owner purchased the car from original owner, in Connecticut. The car was originally purchased from Peconic Bay Motors in Riverhead Long Island in 1996. From 2000 to 2002 the car was kept in San Francisco. In 2002 I moved to the Anchorage area with the car. Between 2004 and 2006 I upgraded the turbos from the stock K16 to K24, added strut tower and Fabspeed exhaust mufflers and catbypass, original catconverters cores were removed, no emission testing required for seasonal driving May to end of October in Alaska. In 2007 upgraded suspension 12 way adjustable Cross coilovers. In July/August 2008 with 100,000 miles I had the engine rebuilt. I purchased engine performance rebuild kit from FVD Brombacher located in Pompano Beach, Florida. The Rebuild kit included but was not limited to 3.8 Mahle pistons and cylinders, left and right sport camshafts with hydraulic lifters, Carrillo connecting rods, sport clutch with lightweight flywheel and software DME update. The rebuilder of the engine used Raceware studs and all other parts valves spring, retainers etc. meet or exceeded the quality of the original parts. The FVD rebuild package cost me approximately $16,000.00. The rebuild with other parts and labor cost me $17,098.00. In 2010 installed BBS wheels (original turbo twist wheels will be included if wanted) In 2012 the transmission was shipped to German Transaxle and the transmission was rebuilt. The cost of the rebuild was approximately $8,000.00. CONDITION: This is not a concourse car it has the normal wear for a car that has been driven. The car has never been abused, driven to its limit, always garaged, never seen snow (except when I took the pics), rarely driven in the rain and never put away dirty. There is 27,000 miles on the rebuilt motor and 127,000 on the car. The car has never been in a collision and never had bodywork except for a respray of the hood due to being scratched when shipped from Sam Francisco to Anchorage. I would be happy to answer any questions from interested persons. This car was previously listed on EBay and the winning bidder backed out after it was claimed that I did not list the flaws of the car. I did list them and he never asked any questions prior to offering the accepted price. On Nov-23-13 at 13:16:32 PST, seller added the following information: Attention!!!!! My mistake I forgot, back in 2001 car was driven up onto the street in Oakland, CA from a underground garage the corner of the rear plastic bumper alongside the exhaust tip caught the hump of the pavement and the plastic was damaged. I did not have the heat shield that is positioned above the exhaust tip replaced when the plastic was repaired and re-sprayed. My apologies for not listing this information In the beginning.
