This is a good beemer that would suit a young enthusiast looking for a convertible that runs and is ready for the road now but needs some small adjustments to make it look better inside. Engine: Solid as a rock. Recently replaced radiator, fuel filter, sparks, fuel pump. Oil Changed every 2,700 miles. Body: in great shape, no dents or dings. Front left fender was replaced so slight change in color but really not noticeable. Shocks, coil springs & front struts all done when I bought it, 31/2 yrs ago. Nice sound system. Has Cable for Ipod. Tires reasonable, less than 2 yrs old. heating system works very well. Top is in ok shape but leaks somewhat when it rains, rear window is new but lining has come away and needs to be sown up. Top motor not operational so needs to be done manually. Window washer not operational, when you try using it, a fuse blows. CD player not operational, A/C not operational, crack in windscreen, fuel tank leaks when filled to capacity. The seats and carpets are not in great shape due to the leaking top. Some rust. The Odometer shows 269,000, there is a dramatic jump on the records in a four year period, over 150,000 miles were added which is impossible. I have the records from the dealer I bought it from explaining what happened, something about a part change that caused it but I never really understood. Either way, whether its 269,000 or more likely 130,000, I've put 26,000 miles on it. The independent autocheck site above checks out with no issues.
