CALLING ALL HONDA GUYS AND GALS!! Up for auction we have a 1774 Honda 350f. These old Hondas are very collectible, 350cc 4 cylinders. They run very smooth!! This old Honda is in real nice condition. This bike is actually my sons, he purchased it in the early spring. After getting it home we realized it was going to need a pretty good tear down to get it back to road worthy. Here is a list of what was done to he bike. Bike stripped to motor and frame, frame cleaned up and waxed, motor basically degreased and polished. The carburetor rack was removed. Every part of the carb and rack was taken apart. All parts were cleaned in a ultrasonic cleaner, New Honda carb kits installed, fuel cross-over tubes replaced, all rack parts lubed and reassembled, carbs synced at start-up. Fuel pet cock rebuilt with Honda parts, Fuel tank had some rust and was cleaned up using metal rescue. Wheels removed and polished, bearings repacked. A new chain was installed. Front Brake caliper bead blasted and painted, caliper was also rebuilt. Lower front fork tubes polished. The tires are new and a trials type tire, kinda ugly I know, the previous owner was going to ride it on gravel roads and thought they would work better. Exhaust is in good condition, there have been patches welded into the transition from pipe to canister, I guess these were common to rust. The p/o completed this work on exhaust. There are not any exhaust leaks. The Tank has some paint fade on top but still looks good. There is not one dent in the tank at all. Seat is in perfect condition. Left side cover has some streaking on it, right is in great condition. Chrome is good with minor pitting. Gauge cluster is in great shape with know fading. All electrics work as they should including electric starter. The engine runs flawless. There is a small oil leak on the left side, as best I can tell its coming from the base gasket. The bike shifts through all the gears flawlessly. So you ask why are we selling it? Well, My son and I got the bike all finished and rode approx. 100 miles. He says to me "I really don't like it" WHAT!! He has decided he would rather have a vintage Yamaha 2 stroke bike, that is my specialty, so I understand. So here we are now. The battery is not new but is good. The charging system charges as it should. I have checked it with my Fluke meter. The fork seals have not been replaced and do NOT leak. I had the forks apart and serviced , cleaned the parts, added new fork oil. The bike comes with its original tool kit and bag along with the original owners manual which is kept under the seat. The brake pads/ shoes are probably original but look and work fine with no squeaks. Again if anyone has any question feel free to call me @ 815 814 5772. Thanks, AL
