Vehicle Detail
Great running vehicle. I still get 50 MPG, when I'm not in a hurry to go home, else I get 47 MPG despite traveling at 80 MPH. I purchased this vehicle in 2011 with 112,000 miles. You will find the car history report to confirm this. This is a commuter vehicle meaning it is dependable and reduces my fuel expense because I travel 150 miles each day round trip. I live in Ledyard, CT and travel to Stratford, CT (75 miles one-way) along I-95. This vehicle has only seen highway miles while I've had it and is likely why I can get 50 MPG. Around town driving or aggressive driving as I often do causes you to only get 3 less miles per gallon. I've done almost nothing to this vehicle since getting it except for routine oil and filter changes (very faithful about this), brake change when I purchased it and you mine as well change the front brakes if you are going to have the front rotors re-faced, and just purchased new battery this week. I'm selling the vehicle only because I have recently received a company vehicle for my use. They pay everything…… insurance, maintenance, taxes, and fuel. If it were not for this I'd hold on to this until I drove it into the ground. I've had a Honda CRX that I got 325K from it. Still sad to not have that one. If you can ignore the fact that the passenger rear door is dented you will love this vehicles fuel mileage. If you were to purchase this vehicle from me and found I haven't been completely honest and accurate about this vehicle I certainly wouldn't hesitate to give you a 100% refund. The pics show a clean car from this summer. The pics of the dented door is from today. I apologize for the dirtiness of it but I only decided to sell this today and although I'd rather clean the vehicle before providing you the accurate pics it was freezing today and too cold to clean it properly. Despite this I wanted to be completely upfront on the condition of the vehicle, hence the pics of a dirty car. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any other questions. Michael (860) 984-3543 text messages work real well. If you supply a question here I can also post the response for everyone to see. Happy and safe holidays to all.On Nov-17-13 at 18:35:58 PST, seller added the following information: Note added Sunday November 17 9:34 PM EST. I haven't yet actually purchased the new battery for the car as I had expected to do. The bid winner will need only pay me his/her bid MINUS the $100 it costs for a brand new battery. The car is working fine with the battery that is in it now so I figured I'd let you decide whether you wanted to put the money towards a battery now or wait until such time that you may actually need it.
