This car was my father-in-laws passion and number one pastime, and he spent the last quarter century restoring this classic to circa 1947 condition. I followed his journey from the acquisition in Canton, Illinois back in the late 80s. Car was stored and did not run, also needed considerable interior and exterior work. Over the years he collected the original parts from all over the country and finished it off with an original Studebaker green custom paint. The car is just stunning inside and out. She has been spoiled; kept inside an enclosed shelter her entire life. Always starts right up..runs and drives as if you were cruising it on historic Route 66 in 1947. The location is Litchfield, Illinois. A small town on interstate 55 about 1/2 way between Springfield, Il and St. Louis Mo. We would prefer pick up, but would be willing to meet at nearby airport (St. Louis).
