Bike is in very good condition and garage kept, I have ridden from Orlando to Kansas City and the Dragons Tail twice. I am the second owner of the bike and I got it from my father-in-law who bought it brand new in Enterprise AL in 1988; still have the original dealer's bill of sale. All of the electronics including the tape player and intercom work, no leaks or knocks. battery and Tires are new (about 95% tread life), air ride and compressor both in working order. I use the tape player and an old tape-to-CD adapter to plug it in to my I-pod.There are no major scratches, dings or cracks. Bike has been stored up for over a year since I moved to Orlando so it could use a service and oil change. There are a few minor flaws which I have listed below and obtained estimates; and there are pictures. Bike only has 42,000 miles; it had 36,000 when I got it a few years ago so it has years of good riding left in it. I am selling it because my wife doesn't like me ridding in the city and I will be sad to see it go. 1. small tear on the seem of the passenger back rest.....50$ to re-apholster or fix 2. Small crack on the trunk lid, not really noticeable, not paint chipping....approx. 150$ to fix if you feel the need 3. Speedo cable broke last year.....25$ for the part, self install about 10 minutes I have included a YouTube link of the bike starting and running. Throttle was a little groggy at first from sitting, but once the carb clean out a little and the engine got warm it ran as smooth as ever. brakes were great, handled well. I am going to try and ride it a little every day until the end of the auction to make sure everything is good and cleaned out. If I get a chance I will also pull and clean the plugs to make sure there is no glaze from sitting.On Nov-12-13 at 15:56:55 PST, seller added the following information: I mistakenly left out a small scuff on the outside of the right side mirror a little bigger than a quarter. The scratch is from where my father-in-law, the original owner, brushed the mirror on the side of the house backing it out of the garage. I will post an additional pic or the scratch by 6 eastern 11/13/13. As this was not part of my original description I will refund the winner 100.00$ in shipping, or upon pick up, to go towards the repair. My sincere apologies for the omission.
