Here's a great find here. This 1969 Ambassador was part of the brand new body series for these top of the line luxury AMC cars, where the Ambassador was like AMC's luxury car or Cadillac, but sold for a Chevrolet price tag. Ambassador models came standard with everything that you would expect to find on other luxury cars including V8, Power steering, Power brakes, Automatic, etc. These cars were a very good value for the money, and even a few stretched limousine models existed of the Ambassadors. They were a true American luxury car along with cars from Cadillac, Lincoln and Imperial, but the modest entry level price of the American Motors produced luxury cars made them an attractive alternative to other higher priced luxury cars by the big three. This particular 1969 AMC Ambassador is in nice running and driving condition, but needs a new alternator and better carpeting and better paint. But, it's not too far off for restoration or just fun as a daily driver. Comes with AMC's more powerful 343 V8 and four barrel carb with dual exhausts. This is a nice example of a classic American car unlike the new cars produced today with an entirely different feel, drive and ride.
