Vehicle Detail
You are viewing one of the nicest '68 Z-28 Camaros available. It is a rare RS optioned Camaro that has had a complete, sub-frame removed, total restoration. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN REPLACED, REMOVED, RESTORED! Attention to detail is incredible. I obtained this car as a partial payment for an NCRS quality '62 Corvette I had. The previous owner had a fortune wrapped up in the Camaro. I have most receipts for parts and it is extensive. There are plenty more pictures of the underside, engine bay, trunk, interior, top, etc. Just ask and give me your email. Many years ago the car was changed from a U-U paint/717 trim to it's current color combination. It was done correctly and professionally and impossible to detect. I have the original cowl tag plus a matching reproduction tag for complete uniformity. JERRY MACNEISH HAS INSPECTED THIS CAR AND FOUND IT TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL MOTOR, TRANS AND REAR END stating "It is my professional opinion that this 1968 Camaro is a factory built Z28" and further "It is quite obvious that whoever restored this Z28 took a lot of time and effort to restore the car. The overall attention to detail is very nice". It is the real deal!!! Everything in the car works as it should including the hideaway headlights, dimmer, heat and fan, horn, directional, automatic choke and on and on, even the original clock in the center of the tach (not a quartz conversion). The car drives, stops and performs as it should. Owned by a mature adult and pampered, it is ready to show or enjoy. I have taken the color change into account and priced it fairly. Remember, it's NOT a clone, and a very exceptional restoration. If you have low feedback, bid retractions, negative feedback, unavailable funds, please DO NOT BID. The car and Title will not leave my possession until all funds clear my bank, no exceptions. Continental US bidders only please. The only dumb question is the one not asked. Inspections welcome with an appointment. My Reserve will respectfully be held private. Please be patient while pictures load.
