Original braided wiring harness under hood and where needed replaced with same original type wiring. Yes it would be nice that every component were still original yet we opted for trouble free reliability over complete originality so you now have the best of both worlds. It is quiet and as smooth as my wifes Jaguar a joy to drive long distance. Unlike my flathead Fords that are best suited for 55 MPH this upscale, car was designed for 65 to 70 MPH and will still do that all day long! I have seen lesser Packards needing mechanicals and restoring or a full wood kit bring low $30'sTherefore We believe $36,000 is well below NADA average book value of $48,600 yet far nicer than average yet this one offers all around good value @ $36,000 a fair price
