Vehicle Detail

Auction is for a 1973 International Scout II. I purchased this Scout from CA back in 2008 with plans of enjoying it while restoring it. Since then, I have not driven it much at all and have decided to let it go. When I got it, it had a 345 with a 4spd. The engine ran ok, but was very worn. I was going to rebuild it, but found a 1977 one owner scout with a strong running 304 and T-19 4spd. Most of the body on the 77 was rotted, but the driveline was very sound. I swapped the 304 &T19 trans into my 73. Engine and transmission have right at 114k miles on them. The body on the 73 is very good having come from CA Front floor pans are a little crusty, but not rotted thru. Rear pans are great and original. Interior is a front bench seat and rear fold & tumble seat. Both of which would need to be recovered. There are after market gauges - all work including the gas gauge as I just replaced the fuel sending unit last summer. Has the factory AC blower under the dash (no compressor). Has a 3” lift with 33x12.5 Pro Comp tires and duel exhaust and a new starter. Since I was planning on redoing the scout, and purchased the 77 for the engine, I have a lot of extra parts that go with it. These include another set of solid doors with good\working glass, solid extra hood, an extra hard top with sliders (no rear lift glass in extra hard top though), good set of black buckets with bases, good black dash pad, new in box clutch kit from AnythingScout, new in box oil pump rebuild kit, new in box water pump, extra windshield frame, new in box windshield with seal, vinyl bikini top. Recently replaced the starter and alternator. Engine has Mallory Unilite distributor with new ignition module and coil. The Scout does have some rust, but nothing major or typical Scout 'rot'. The paint is not the best and is flaking off in places - hood being the worst. Overall this is a pretty solid Scout that runs and drives good and comes with some extra parts. The 4 wheel drive works good! Make a good hunting vehicle, keep at your cabin, or drive as is and be ready for the zombies. :) Please email me if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!
