This truck came from a Radio Station, was wrapped in stickers for the last several years. We are a full service H1 / HMMWV shop and replaced a few items-trying, however we are very busy and don't have time to continue on with this unit--therefore the short sale.We have many projects and don't need another. It has a few issues:Smokes badly, smells like diesel fuel, possible stuck injector or injector pump problems. (picture)Lift pump isn't running, replaced it, has power, still not running.Typical cancer/rust on the steel top, where it meets the aluminum body as well as the roof.2 commercial ports for roof top wiresStickers left marks on the vehicle in various places. Didn't remove them completely. What we replaced:New power steering pump and fluid-still doesn't work that wellNew alternator, the old one wasn't charging 124amp unit2 Brand-new interstate megatron plus batteries $120 each.New Aluminum radiator $1000, the old one was clogged up and leaking/ new coolantChanged the oil / filterNew fuel lift pumpNew fuel filter The vehicle does run and drive, but I would not recommend driving it any distance. Can load it on a trailer for shipping, obviously drove it to take pictures of it. Shifts well etc.The engine looks like a fairly fresh Jasper unit, (Gray Paint) But I'm not sure of the internal condition of the motor. So purchase it considering the motor might have to be rebuilt. It does have the Air Conditioning Up-Grade, about a $5,000 a/c system, all the drive line protection, steel rockers. The truck had CTIS at one point, but the compressor/valve unit is gone. This truck would make a great project for the person that want's to either fix up the engine, or do a Cummins/Duramax engine swap-- or a dedicated off roader. The body is straight, not an off road truck. It does need a good detail/wet sanding/cleaning. Questions? Having owned over 600 H1's in my Hummer career I'm definitely an expert on the H1. I'll be selling-buying-driving these beasts until I die. I'm different than a salesman at a dealership, I can afford these vehicles, drive them everyday, and if you'll let me--I'll buy it back when you want to trade up. I'll still be selling these trucks many years from now. I price these units to sell, I'm not asking some silly retail price, I have low overhead and live simple. If you have any questions about years models etc., don’t hesitate to call. I have several H1’s in stock ranging from the mid 20’s all the way up. If you’re looking to buy a H1 chances are I know it. Yes that’s quite a statement, but it’s true. I put my phone number on every eBay auction, and you can call me anytime (within reason). You don’t get some switch board or multiple salesmen, or someone at some dealership with a huge rate of turnover, no. You get me. And I’ll continue to buy and sell H1’s many years from now. It’s my life and passion. Have a H1 your trying to sell? Call me I’ll give you an honest number on what it’s worth. Just a side note, do you really want to buy a truck from someone that speaks broken English so bad you’re not sure what you agreed to? Do you really want to buy from someone that exports most of their trucks to foreign countries? Do you want to buy a truck from someone that gets dancers to stand beside their trucks? Do you want to buy a truck from someone with horrible pictures that hide all the trucks imperfections? Do you want to buy a truck from some sales person that knows nothing about the H1? If you said yes to any of these go out on the web and pick from them, they’re all there! Do you think they’re going to be selling H1s in ten years? If you do you’ve got faith—one thing’s for sure I’ll still be here buying and selling H1s—I’ve been doing it since 1995-Me—Blair Outlan the H1 guy. And yes I’ll be there to help you out when you need something. Questions? Give me a call—Blair Outlan 901-378-8877 blair@usedh1.com
