SOLID SOUTHERN V-8 SHORT BED TRUCK….PERFECT TO MAKE A STREET ROD/CRUISER!!!! 1973 FORD F-100 RANGER XLT SHORT BED RED OUTSIDE WITH RED INTERIOR GREAT COLOR COMBINATION Up for auction is this 1973 Ford Truck with a 302/2v with a 3 speed automatic (runs and drives good). The truck came with power steering (HD / has the cooler) and A/C(everything is there but the compressor). The undercarriage is VERY SOLID. It has dual exhaust that sound great! The truck has been in northwest Alabama its whole life (all trim is in nice shape). Truck comes with an Alabama tag receipt and a matching bill of sale, everything you need to apply for title. It also has a nice sliding rear back glass and working cargo light (switch inside cab) and a good truck box. This truck is an excellent candidate for a customized truck that needs little body work and little mechanical work. Please ask any questions for more information and if needed, more pictures. This is a 40 year old truck that has never been restored. It has very solid original sheet metal with minimal rust. The front of the driver’s side fender has a dent/bend. (see photo) It has chips, scratches, small dents and other blemishes. It has been repainted at some point; chips, scratches and minor surface rust were covered up (which is good because they kept the truck from rusting out) , none of those areas are rusted through. The paint has faded a good bit, but the truck is very straight and has great gaps. All glass is good except for font windshield, it has a couple of chips and a small crack.
