Up for auction is a beautiful Red 1985 Jaguar XJS Coupe. It was one of my grandfather's daily drivers for years. It is in excellent working order with about 112000 GENTLE miles. It has the usual minor issues associated with a Jaguar of this age. There are a few cracks on the wood dash. The leather is not cracked and in good shape. It also has the usual minor chips and dings. When my grandfather passed away in 2010, it was parked. Although I've been maintaining it by occasionally starting it and driving it, the AC has lost it's charge. The driver's window switch also needs cleaning (as all 80's jags do). That's all the bad. The car runs, shifts, drives like a new car. She has a brand new battery and the Yokohama tires have a lot of tread on them. Oh, I've also installed a cd changer in the glove box that looks and works nicely. It also has upgraded speakers. It has no issues passing smog. The car is currently non-opped so registration fees wouldn't pile up. The title is --clear--. Please have a look at the photos as I've tried to be as open and honest as possible. Again, this was one of my grandfather's most loved cars and it needs to go to a good home as it will make an excellent daily driver. There are several internet-based auto transport companies who can provide a fast and competitive quote. Some advertise on hemmings and some advertise here on ebay.
