You are bidding on a 1989 Chevy Corvette Coupe. This is a one owner car that has been adult owned and cared for. Under the hood is the 5.7L fuel injected V8 that starts right up every time with a good battery. The motor runs very smoothly. The automatic overdrive transmission shifts equally well. The car only has 53,000 original miles on it and it runs, drives and handles as you would expect. Steering, suspension, brakes, and overall ride are very nice. Car has a fantastic red paint job on it and nice tan leather interior. The car has power windows, power locks, power steering, power seats, power brakes with ABS, 4 wheel disc brakes, Ind rear suspension, premium sound system, power antenna, premium wheels, tilt/telescope wheel, cruiser, rear defrost, a/c with climate control, removable tinted hardtop and power mirrors. The car is very clean for a 1989 as you can see from the pics. Car has just passed the CA smog inspection and has current lic till Aug 2014. The headlights work but are a little finicky, the a/c does not blow ic cold but work, the sound system is not as premium sounding as it was when it was new and the the power mirrors do not work. Also the tine on the rear window is peeling a little. Tires are decent. The car does not get driven that much and is garage kept. It comes from a non smoker, non pet owner. It comes with the factory Chevy top removal tool and the factory wheel lock wrench. Car is selling as is where is, there are no warranties implied expressed or given. Please be ready to pay for and pick up the car within 2 weeks of auction close. If you want to fly in and drive the car home I will pick up the winning bidder at the Sac Intl Airport. If you want to have the car transported please check the rates before you win the car not after, it might be more or less to transport than you think.
