Here we have a 1998 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible: 'Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Edition'. Under the hood this car is powered by a 5.7 Liter LS1 V8 complete with an Active Handling chassis control system. The car comes complete with Power windows, Power doors, Power seats, CD player with a Bose speaker system; an electronic dual-zone heating & air conditioning system; and leather adjustable sport bucket seats(With Driver Seat Memory Positioning). The car has high quality Racing Eagle Tires on the front, and new rear tires, all with a good amount of tread left on them, two of the custom Pace Car Yellow rims are newly refurbished, and the entire convertible top is brand new as of last week.This corvette is a 2 owner vehicle with 132,000 miles on it, 117,000 coming from the original owner and the remaining 15k has been added by myself. Some background on the car's original miles; I purchased the car approximately 2 years ago from the son of the original owner. The original owner was 80 years old when he bought the vehicle new, and took many long trips across the country with this corvette; meaning this car was not abused for these highway miles. The engine performance has been spectacular from the moment I owned the vehicle, and the minor issues that the car possesses are primarily cosmetic. The exterior paint has minor scrapes and scratches, but nothing major. The leather driver's side seat has some wear and a two small tears in it, but the passenger seat is in great shape. I'm selling this to get a more practical car, starting to settle down. Only 1,163 of these pace car` replicas were made, and makes for a really exciting car to drive and is a real head turner.
