1996 Hyundai Elantra Wagon Description Here is a 1996 Hyundai Elantra wagon. This vehicle has been owned by the city since it was manufactured, and has had routine maintenance with the fleet. VIN # KMHJW24M8TU032358 mileage: 93037 Engine: 1.8L I4 DOHC 16V FI The engine runs, but has a slight knocking. The problem has not been diagnosed...selling it AS-IS. The brake switch to release the gear shifter is broken & needs repaired. To move the vehicle from park, the brake switch override must be deployed. Due to this problem, it is recommended that the vehicle be towed. The four way emergency flasher system is broken on this vehicle. Left rear door won't open....locking mechanism has malfunctioned. Heavy stains on floor carpet and on cloth seats in areas. Several areas of minor damage, including; faded paint, chips & scratches in paint, heavy dent on left front quarter panel, left headlight damaged, areas of rust.
