1957 Triumph TR3 Small Mouth Grill – Great Driver or Restoration Candidate (she needs a paint job) only a handful of these cars are left and they are getting rarer and more desirable each year. Runs & Drives Excellent. Completely Rebuilt Engine and Transmission. Both with less than 1000 miles on them. Engine upgraded with the Moss Motors Rear Oil Seal Conversion, high flow water pump, and the correct shrouded thermostat. Engine also has spin on oil filter adapter (original is included) and a new fuel pump. Radiator was boiled out and found to be in good shape. Engine now has a HiTork starter that works great (the original starter is included.) Transmission was rebuilt by Quantum Mechanics. The brake and clutch master cylinders work fine and a new battery was installed this spring. The interior of this car is in good condition, the front and back seats were redone in black leather with white piping and are clean with only one rip in the passenger seat. New carpet kit was recently installed. The dash is clean but has a few cuts in the vinyl, as do the door panels. New Macy’s Garage door latch pull straps were installed. All the gauges work except the temp gauge. A replacement is in the car now, but the non working original comes with the car. Recently had a new windshield installed. A convertible top, tonneau and side curtain are included but they are in poor condition. The body is decent but needs some small dents repaired and repainted. Among a number of paint chips, the only rust I can find on the car is the lower portion of the front fenders underneath on the inside and same place on the rears. No rust on the exterior of the car. The rust can be repaired. The hood was recently at a hot rod sheet metal shop for straightening and it is in flat black primer. Lucas lighting so it does have some small issues. The headlights, taillights, and gauge lights all work. The left turn signal and the brake lights will need some attention. Car was converted from Positive ground to Negative ground. Pirelli tires have less than 1000 miles on them, but they are old and do have some dry rot cracks on the sidewall. All still hold air. Car comes with 4 spare wheels. Car has current Minnesota plates and is driven weekly. THE CAR IS SOLD AS IS. This car is 56 years old and although it is a great driver as is, or candidate for restoration, it is not perfect, If you would like to have the car inspected, I can make it available within 24 hours, it's located South of Minneapolis, MN.
