ENJOY LIFE!! DRIVE A CONVERTIBLE!! Up for NO RESERVE AUCTION is this pretty Blue 1968 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible! 1968 is a very collectible year, it's the first year of the "modern" Beetle. If you have ever owned or driven one of these neat little Bugs you know how much fun they are to drive! Just running errands is a joy! And a top-down ride on a beautiful fall evening is pure pleasure! The interior is in great shape. The motor is a stock dual port 1600cc rebuilt 5000 miles ago, smooth and powerful, and it's just received a full service. Doesn't use or leak oil. Transmission shifts with ease and is whine free. The windows all roll up and down like they should. Front end is tight, no shakes or shimmies. The only rust I see is a little bit on the rear apron, which is covered, and a little bit in the bottom of the spare tire compartment. The bottom of the rear window has been resealed. I also have a nice custom fitted bike rack that will carry two bikes that I'll throw in with it. If you have ever wanted one of these great little cars but didn't want to have to restore one, or pay $15K for a perfect one, then "This Bug's for you!" This is a very affordable classic. Take it to your local weekend "Bug-In" and be proud! Or really enjoy life and drive it every day! Perfect car for that special student.
