I'm selling the car because I'm 80 years old and it's about time. This California car is offered with many spares and parts--you pick what you want at time of sale; has a clear title and is currently licensed and insured. I drive the car to the track, run time trials. and drive it home. It is extensively modified, even the doors have been lightened by removing the glass and mechanics; it is classed to run as a Time Trials "B" car in NASA. The car is very flexible and can be easily set up to compete in SCCA series races or other timed events. The car weights 2,200 lbs with a 50.6/49.4 front to rear ratio. In current tune, 7.5psi of boost, the engine develops 208HP and 230 ft/lbs. Body: White with black trim; fiberglass bumpers, front spoiler, oversize rear spoiler aero relieved hood and enclosed air inlet; lowered chassis, lightened body and doors; full roll cage tied to shock towers in front; front and rear shock tower braces; roll cage includes front cross piece and door side guards; tach, oil pressure, water temperature, turbo pressure and Innovate Air/Fuel Ratio gages; removable steering wheel, outside and inside racing window nets, Driver seat and removable passenger seat, both racing seats with five-way harness; Includes AMB transponder for timed events. The car is shown with street mirrors installed, comes with a set of easily installed spot mirrors for reduced aero drag. Engine: ‘82 Datsun turbo with intercooler, 40/1000 overbored, racing cam; Megasquirt ECU running Tuner Studio; Crank fired EDIS ignition system. mild-bend exhaust down pipe with easy back pipe changeover, currently meets noise limitation without muffler(optional muffler included.) 12 gallon fuel cell with electric pump and fuel collector. Driveline: 280ZX Transmission with R200 differential with Quaife limited slip unit. Set up for 3.5 ratio to run at ThunderHill Racetrack. Have 3.3 and 3.9 gears as spares. Suspension: Front: Ground Control coilovers with Koni adjustable shocks; Arizona fully adjustable front suspension with adjustable tie rods and 1” roll bar. Rear: Ground Control coilovers with Koni adjustable shocks; Fully adjustable with concentrics and ⅝” roll bar. All urethane bushings front and rear. Brakes: Disc Brakes front and rear: Toyota Truck calipers with 300zx vented rotors and NASCAR brake compound pads in front; 240SX calipers and rotors with NASCAR compound pads in the rear. Tires: Toyo 225/50x15 RA1s, in excellent condition, mounded on classic SSR wheels for the street/track; has a set of Hoosier R6 racing tires mounted on Enki wheels for the track. Comes with a new set of fender flares if you want to increase the tire sizes. Spares: 240Z head and block; 280Z head and block; 280zx head. two R200 differentials; two transmissions, etc. Comments: The car has turned a second place 1.56 sec at Sears Point in present mild tune. The engine has been rebuild and has about 18 hours of travel time and about 8 hours of track time; It is just broken in. The engine can be tuned for at least 300 HP and 250 ft/lbs of torque, if you want to increase the boost. The engine runs strong and the body is solid without rust.
