The trans is new last week because I was racing a viper and burnt it up trying to keep up. I had it at the Good Guys meet doing 70 sec runs on the slalom course just this weekend. Mine is not a ''car show queen'' ...its fast and mean and will scare the hell out of you. Its not perfect....but a couple dollars in piddly stuff and some detailing it would be. I know the ''T'' bothers some people....thats stupid too. If it has recaro seats or a 302 its not original anyway...same goes for 5 speeds and air conditioning . You want a ''real'' Shelby get you a dose of a low powered 289 with a 4 speed and sweat your butt off....thats what an original felt like. Mine will blow a stock 428 GT500 away.....a gear change and slicks this car do 6 sec 1/8s or 11 sec 1/4s..... Its been here 2 weeks and nothing but silly lowballers and trades no one wants.....I guess Im keeping it.....sorry for the rant but it took me 30 years to be able to build a car like this and with all the hype I get in public figured it last 5 minutes on here. To those few that asked the right and serious questions.... thank you....to the ones just broke....thank you......to the other lowball idiots and dealers wasting my time please back up to a door knob and use it........lol.....take care yall
