You are bidding on a 1984 Goldwing GL1200 Aspencade. I bought it last week from a man who bought the bike new and was giving up riding after many years. Has 26,500 original miles. This is very low, I have seen them go over 175,000 Has a clear title. . Bike has been of the road for the past three years. I put a brand new battery in it last week and some fresh gas. It started up but it would not stay running. You could smell that there was some old gas still in the tank, but I got it to run long enough to see that the fan came on. I was able to rev it up and it sounds good but you will need to clean the carbs before you are able to drive it. Bike is pretty clean for the year. Everything works, the lights, signals, brakes, radio. Shifts through all of the gears fine. Has the original exhaust and it is in excellent shape. Dunlop tires were brand new four years ago and have not had many miles since. I looked inside the tank and it is clean with no rust. Bike comes with the original foot pegs, also the original keys, tool kit, manual, and nylon bags. Most of the time that the bike was ridden, it was without the back trunk. I think it looks better without it. The paint on the trunk and the back rest on the trunk both show some wear. Chrome is good. There is some pitting on the cases and some very light rust here and there, I am sure most of it will clean up. No leaks. Has Markland floor boards and back rest. Everything works on the digital dash. Nice Aspencade with low miles. Does not need much to get it back in the road. Cleaning the carbs is a common problem with bikes that have been sitting for a few years. Bike was always serviced by a local Honda dealership until it was taken off the road a few years ago. Bike gets a lot of looks. Nice original two tone paint. Cosmetically, just needs a light cleaning and I would probably put a new windshield on it because they do fog up, may buff out. The 1200 Goldwings are very reliable and have strong motors. Known a super comfortable bike. No Reserve! Please feel free to email with any questions, I will be happy to answer them.
