For sale- a true part of American car building at it's best. The 1959 Fairlane is in very good condition. It's not driven every day, but certainly could be. I purchased it about 6 years ago. It came from South Dakota, where for part of it's recent life was displayed on the showroom floor of a local Ford dealer. I believe it was sometime during that time of it's life that the exterior and interior were restored and the undercarriage was coated. It runs great, transmission shifts smoothly, the tires, battery and fuel pump are new. Also included with the purchase of this beauty is a Durafin Car Cover (interior use) and about $400 worth of parts I purchased for a project I never started to rebuild the motor. Something it really doesn't need, but I thought I would have the time to do it. Although the odometer reads 19,387, I think you can add 100,000 to that.Since the car is in such good shape, I don't think it turned more than once, but that is speculation on my part. There is a small crack in the passenger side vent window, and a small hole in the right exhaust manifold. A replacement manifold is included. Since I owned this car, its always been garaged and never driven in the rain or snow. Buyer is responsible for pickup and transportation.
