2003 Jetta TDI for sale. We are the original owners. It has always been driven by a mature driver (my wife) for its entire life. With the legendary VW TDI engine, this car easily gets 45 - 50 miles per gallon. We recently drove it from northeast Tennessee to our home in New York's Hudson Valley without a single fuel stop. The car is in very good mechanical condition. The body has a few scratches visible from less than 10 feet away. In addition to the damaged rear left fender (see picture), there are a couple of other small creases and dimples. The good news is that this car has never been in a body shop. All of the scratches and dents you can see on it now are the extent of any body damage this car has ever had. This vehicle has no rust whatsoever. The paint is still very lustrous and shines up very nicely when waxed. Besides a small hole in the driver's seat, the upholstery is in very good condition. There is also a small hole in the carpet under the gas pedal. The headliner is perfect (some Jetta's have a problem with this). Car has always been maintained by VW dealer or VW specialist mechanic. It will need a new timing belt at 200,000 miles. Oil changes were always right on schedule (every 10,000 miles as recommended by VW) and were always done with Mobil One synthetic oil. Because it is due for a change now, it will be conveyed with fresh oil. This car is solid as a rock. It's like driving around in a bank vault. VW was VERY generous with safety features on these cars. It is loaded with airbags, ABS brakes and everything that was state of the art in 2003. There is nothing in need of repair.- everything works (lights, switches, latches, stereo, A/C, heat, etc.).
