Vehicle Detail
Bare with me because of the length of this description but there are so many items that you need to know about the truck, specifically the things that either have been replaced or repaired:The 327 V-8 motor is what I've been able to determine is a Production Year of 1962-1967. It was one of the first 327's produced that came with a 2 barrell carburetor delivering 210 HP. The Automatic transmission is the original powerglide with 2 speed. It has been serviced adjusted by a transmission specialist here in Albuquerque to include a new modulator, filter, pan gasket. New Brakes (installed, new drums, pads, brake lines). Shocks, Tires(BF Goodrich P255/70R/15), Rebuilt Carburetor, Wires/plugs, coil, electronic ignition, New Alternator, New Steering Gear, New Wiring Harness, New rear bumper, New water pump, New front grille, New radiator, Front end aligned after replacement of upper and lower ball joints and pitman arm and idler arm, New upholstered seat, new instrument panel lense, New door and window handles, New battery, New fuel sending unit, New Sunvisors, New chrome door sills, New carpet, New felt in the doors and anti-rattle channels, New Chrome mirror, New wipers, New Horn, New Steering wheel, New Lighter/accessories plug, New Speedo cable, New glove box, New Tailgate chains. Numerous misc. parts replaced. This truck is a rare breed - with the desirable small back window, short-bed with stepside and of course a 327 motor. Pull up the classic NADA book values and see for yourself what kind of value you can have with a little bit of Work. The paint job is not beautiful but is very respectable. One who wants to make this truck a finished classic would have to have it repainted. It has one small crease in the passenger side where the door was blow extremely wide open which caused the door to hit the side of the truck. I will try to take pics so that you can see it for yourself. There are no rust issues on this truck because of it living in New Mexico. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via ebay and I will attempt to answer them promptly. Car collectors don't miss out on this unique truck. If you're not a collector you can become one with this truck as your first prized possession. Good Luck with your bidding!
