She said the car had been parked in the garage for a while and might be hard to get to. It took an hour of digging just to uncover the car, being covered with boxes and clothing, etc. When we finally got the car out, it was in incredible shape. We pulled the spark plugs, squirted a little Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders, hooked it up to a battery and it turned over. Not until then did we find out that the car had been sitting in that garage, under all that stuff for over 17 years. The car you see in these pictures and video was finally completed in July of 2005. The original engine and transmission have never been removed from the car. The car is reliable enough to drive anywhere, even across the country. It was built as a driver, and has done its job very well over the years, and will for years to come. Unfortunately the car rarely gets driven and it needs to be exercised. Hopefully it finds a new home with someone who will be as passionate about driving and caring for the car as I have been.
