Here is your chance to purchase a very original 2 owner '71 Stingray. Finished in the desirable Mille Miglia Red (973) over Red Vinyl (407) interior. This car was sold new at A.J. Foyt Chevrolet in Houston, TX and first registered 04/22/1971. The original owner owned the car until mid 2006 when the second owner purchased the vehicle. It has traveled a mere 66k miles (believed to be original) and comes with a stack of receipts and documentation with nearly everything since new! Protecto Plate, original registration, owner's manual, warranty card, original photo, etc. Optioned with power steering, power brakes, air conditioning (upgraded to R-134 but needs a recharge) and tilt-tele steering column. I have a new set of beauty rings for the wheels that will be included with the sale as well as the main ignition shielding cover. This car runs and drives very well. It idles smooth, pulls strong, brakes evenly, and has no abnormal shakes or vibrations at speed. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It is obviously not a new car as it is an unrestored (1 repaint) 42 year old car but it is in very good overall condition. The body is laser straight and shows no signs of fiberglass repair. The chassis is dry and free from rust. The car was located in the Houston area from 1971 - 2006 and then in Southern California from 2006 - current. The water temp gauge and clock are not currently operating. All other gauges and lights work properly. The interior is in good original condition. However, the carpet is faded (but not excessively worn) and as happens with old red interiors many of the panels look a slightly different shade of red.
