Vehicle Detail

This is a very nice 1999 BMW 323i Convertible with rare removable hard top. I love the look of this car, the hard top gives it a special line that is different from the 323i w/o the convertible top. We always get compliments on the car, especially from other BMW owners. Non- smoker's car. Engine runs quite and strong. Silver paint is in very nice condition. Any chips have been touched up professionally and are shown in pics. Glass is perfect. Absolutely no rust. Interior is very nice. Cold AC. Carpet is very nice. Leather is very nice; back seat is like new, front pass seat shows slight wear, front driver's seat shows some wear (see pic), no cuts or splits. Clean under the hood. Trunk is very clean. New tires. Recent oil, filters, plugs. Brakes have a lot left. Drives very nice and is very quite. All original. No error codes or warning lights. New OBC (display for temp, date, time and warning messages (perfect pixels)) an $800.00 part from dealer. Recent tune-up, new struts ($1000.00), Control arms, Control Arm Bushings, Tie Rods ($2000.00). New door (2) weather strips. New BMW flexy antenna. New BMW Harman Kardon speakers. Does not burn oil. Oil changed regularly with Castrol Edge synthetic and Wix filters.Serviced at local BMW dealership. When it needed something, it was done. No known issues. No known accidents. I would drive this car anywhere. Perfect for summer (top down) or winter (hard top on). The best of both worlds. You will not be disappointed in this car. When comparing this to others, note that the other BMW convertibles will not have the removable hard top. They are rare, and if you find one( for $2000.00) you will have to paint it and the paint won't match. IMO you want the hard top. I don't think that a soft top would be a good idea in the winter if it is cold out. With the hard top on it is like driving a regular coupe. The cold stays out. This car is 14 years old. It is not new. It is a lightly used car that has been taken care of. The winning bidder will pay $500.00 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours. The balance will be paid by Certified Funds within 5 days from end of auction. The car and title will only be released after funds clear. Arrangements for shipping is up to the winning bidder. I will make the car available to the shipper. There is no warranty express or implied. That being said, you will be happy with this car. Happy bidding and Good Luck! Because some have asked; I dispute the History Report regarding the accident reported. This car hasn't been in any accident before I bought it or since. It states the it was in an accident in Texas in May of 2012. The car was in my driveway then and it has never been to Texas. The soft top is in great, near-new condition. It looks great. No holes, tears, or cuts. It retracts by pressing a button, and covers and locks in place by pressing a button. My grandmother could do it. Couldn't be easier. The car has never been driven hard while I have owned it. The reason that I am selling is that I bought the car for my daughter to use while in Nursing School. She graduated, got the job of her dreams and purchased her own car. She loved driving this car. I am not a car dealer of any kind. I am selling the cars that my kids have used while in college. I sold a car earlier this year that one of my sons was using while in school, and will be selling another in a month or so that another son has been using. When you have 4 kids in college at the same time you can accumulate a few cars. The car is for sale locally so the auction can end early. Again, thanks for looking and good luck bidding. On Aug-02-13 at 14:41:16 PDT, seller added the following information: Someone asked if the paint on the hood was "splotchy". I reviewed the pics and what is being seen there is the reflection of the sky, clouds, and the trees that were above the car at the time the picture was taken. The paint is really nice and reflects very well. No fade, oxidation, or scratches. There are about 8 small stone chips o the hood that I had touched-up; that is why I took those hood pics.
