Vehicle Detail

1999 Ford Crown Victoria LX 4 Door Sedan 4.6 Liter V-8 Electronic Fuel Inj. Up for sale is a Gray 1999 Crown Victoria LX 4dr sedan with a 4.6Liter V-8 engine. It has beautiful Alloy Wheels. The tires are like new with over 90% tread. This Vehicle Features: Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power door Locks, AM/FM Stereo Radio, Cassette Player, Trip odometer, Tilt Steering Wheel, Tinted Glass, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Driver & Passenger Side Airbags, Clock, ALLOY WHEELS, Rear Defroster, remote trunk lid, split front bench seat, carpeting, cloth interior, body side molding, accent stripes, sport steering wheel, center arm rest, map lights. As you can see from the pictures, this is a beautiful car in great shape. There is a small split in the rear bumper, and a small dent in the trunk from a storm a couple of weeks ago. The interior is in good condition with normal wear. There are a couple of very small burn spots in the driver side seat from a previous owner. This is a Very Powerful car. The last time I had it serviced at the Ford dealership, the Ford Mechanic even complimented me on how powerful the car was. He said he could tell it had really been well taken care of by how strong it ran. There is a small weeping leak in the intake. You can tell this had been repaired once before, but it has begun to leak again around the patch. I did some research & found that you can find the intake kit for this vehicle starting at $140.00 (with free shipping) right here on e-bay. The prices do vary but average under $200.00. I also called a few of the local mechanics in the area for estimates on labor for installing the new intake. The Labor quotes ranged from $100.00 to $300.00(just depending on the garage). I had purchased the Crown Victoria as a secondary vehicle. I haven’t put a lot of miles on the car. When I discovered the leak in the intake I parked the vehicle. It has never ran hot. There is no oil in the coolant, or coolant in the oil. I make sure to start it up every week. This vehicle IS Very Drivable. It can go at least 100 miles without any problems. (I have been told by a Certified Ford Mechanic if the car begins to run above normal temperature, or the sensors detect anything, the computer sensors will enable a “limp mode”, which will slow the vehicle down, to prevent engine damage. If this occurs, the vehicle will just need to be parked for 15 – 20 minutes and will be able to proceed again.) This car has never been allowed to run hot. ***Because of the small weeping leak in the intake I CAN NOT RECOMMEND you driving this vehicle for long distances.*** This car is being sold As Is Where Is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Purchaser is responsible for all shipping/towing expense, if they decide to have vehicle towed/shipped. A $250 deposit will be required within 48 hours of winning the auction (immediately upon the buy it now option). Please make arrangements so Full Payment can be made within 7 days after the end of auction. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I will answer them to the best of my ability.
