This is the special edition vehicle - Eddie Bauer Edition. 2002 Isuszu Trooper. Body type – Wagon. Silver color. Mileage 125,045. Title in hand. Please note: the lien/loan was satisfied a few years back and there is NO outstanding loan on this vehicle. Some updates/repairs we’ve purchased (we can make copies of receipts of these items if desired (except oil changes) once you’ve purchased the car): Spent $3,852.00 less than 2000 miles ago @ 123,756 miles had transmission items installed – rebuilt torque converter, overhaul kit, oil pump assembly, force motor solenoid, transmission filter, transmission fluid, radiator, and 2 gallons antifreeze. BONUS ITEM for you! We added and wired a DVD/CD player #XDV8125 CD multimedia receiver with 2.5” TFT LCD Monitor. DVD works. Radio/CD player (with remote) works but acts up occasionally. Battery installed around 100,000 miles Set of front pads installed around 100,000 miles Front rotors installed around 100,000 miles Set of rear pads installed around 100,000 miles Rear rotors installed around 100,000 miles New wiper arms installed around 100,000 miles Installed rebuilt Starter around 110,000 – 120,000 miles Oil changes performed regularly Work that we are aware of that needs to be performed: The reason for the low SUV price is because we were recently told it needs engine work. Engine work: A reputable mechanic told us that it will need an engine put in this SUV due to the knocking noise. Currently, the SUV starts and is being driven but there is a loud noise and so it shouldn’t be driven until a remanufactured or used engine is put in the SUV. Once purchased from us, we advise having it towed or shipped to have that work performed. Note: the last engine we purchased for this SUV was $1800 (not including labor). There is a crack on the front windshield. Other information: There are a couple minor dents (primarily the back rear sides of the trooper) as shown in photos. I’ve driven with these dents for awhile – no need to repair. Other body work had been performed previously. Manual brakes work fine, but ABS system does not work. I’ve been driving it this way for awhile – no problems here. Was driven today (as of listing creation date). Inspected until October 2013. And currently insured and registered. This vehicle is being sold completely “As Is” with “no warranty expressed or implied”. I encourage you to arrange to inspect this vehicle yourself or have your mechanic do so to ensure that you find no additional items to your dissatisfaction. When I purchased this item from a car dealer several years ago, I was told it was an Eddie Bauer Edition. There was a sticker on the vehicle that referred to this being an Eddie Bauer Edition. After several years in my possession, the sticker has fallen off. After an inquiry from an ebay buyer questioning whether this was in fact "Eddie Bauer", I just did a search online and can't find information confirming this is an Eddie Bauer edition other than that I did find search results for another 2002 Eddie Bauer Isuzu Trooper listed for sale. Please note there is no reference on this vehicle with metal stickers or signage regarding this being an Eddie Bauer Edition. So I'm now wondering if that ebay interested buyer was correct and that the dealer may have falsely told us it was an Eddie Bauer edition and it wasn't. What I can say is that it is some type of premiere edition at a minimum or has upgrades - because if you compare it to other Isuzu Troopers in that era - the exterior features of this SUV are better.
