this is a 1977 ford ltdII s or ltd 2 s sport edition.this car only has 73,700 original miles on it.when i purchased it this car did not run and definitely was sitting in someones garage for awhile.i had to replace the starter solenoid and redo some wiring to get the car to correctly crank over with the key and get spark.then i had to change the fuel pump and clean the carb and replace the fuel filter and change the old gas to get it running.then after it would run the radiator was bad and leaked everywhere so i had to replace it.the car now runs and drives.it is a little cold blooded and you have to pump the gas a few times but after it starts and warms up it is fine.it needs run and a few tanks of good gas run through it but i have already driven it about 100 miles since all the repairs and it runs better every day.this car is in amazingly great condition for a 1977.the a/c works but is not super ice cold and it is r12 not r-134 so i tracked down some old school r-12 (not real hard to find but expensive)i will include it it just needs put in.this car is like a time capsule from the 70s.it has cruise that works great power steering power brakes and more and it all works like new.the paint looks like it is original and shines very well but it has a few dings here and there a few scratches here and there and it looks like some hail marks mostly on hood none on roof and maybe 2 on rear trunk lid.the interior is near immaculate.the headliner is beautiful with no rips or sags the dash is beautiful with no cracks this car has the SUPER RARE FOR A LTD BUCKET SEATS WITH CONSOLE AND FLOOR SHIFT that are all in beautiful condition.even the rear package tray where the rear speakers are is nice and not shredded or sun fryed like most are.this car definitely was always stored in a garage.the underneath of this car is also immaculate. no rot no holes etc.the inside of the trunk is also very nice with absolute zero rust holes or rot.the engine and everything under the hood looks original and untouched except for what i changed.this car even has all the original stickers chalk marks etc in place and untouched.this description is getting kind of long so to some it up this is a very clean running driving antique classic car that you can buy without taking a mortgage out on your house.you can take it to the car show the way it sits and do a few improvements here and there as you choose.it is not one of those completely rotted out pos that need everything.this car is mostly all original and it turns heads wherever i go.i cant go anywhere without someone asking me all about it.so if you want attention wherever you go this is it.this is a video of a complete walk around and drive of the car just click this link to watch it. http://youtu.be/0DkkcDZTidY this car has a cherry bomb on it and it sounds good but not obnoxiously loud. it also has some other 70s stuff like rear air shocks and trans am style quad dual exhaust tips(but this car has single exhaust with cherry bomb tips are just for looks).i cant possibly describe every detail about this car so please e-mail me with any questions or if you want any pics of any particular part.you wont be dissapointed.this also comes with the factory owners manual, the literature that you picked up at your dealership telling you all about it and a brand new factory ford air cleaner decal.On Jul-22-13 at 04:28:31 PDT, seller added the following information: FREE!
