This is a barn find and an estate car. I bought it out of a barn at an estate auction in Coleman Texas. It runs, drives and stops with no problems at all. The patina is what we are all looking for in a vintage truck and its a great original rat rod, original pickup! The ultimate sleeper farm truck! Original V8 and automatic. Custom Cab, Big Window, Fleetside SWB. This truck has to be low milage based on the wear to the floor mat and pedal pads. The odometer reads 39,XXX and it may be correct but I can't verify or guarantee that. Here's what we have done with the car. 1. Trailered it home 2. Installed a new battery. 3. Checked all the fluids and started it up. Yep, it was that simple! 4. Washed the exterior with Tide detergent and cleaned the interior. Pulled the old headliner that was hanging down. 5. Drove it down the road with the grandkids!!!!!! It looks like the the guy had just done a major tuneup and replaced the carburator before he passed away. The truck has license plates from 1984 on it and I expect that was it's last year on the road before the guy bought it and started working on it. Here's what I would do to the car 1. The tires are ok but not matching so I would like a nice set of tires on it. 4. Drive the heck out of it!
