Looking for an untouched unmolested 57.....Good luck, almost all of them out there have been hot-rodded throughout the years. This is one that has been kept nearly untouched in its original glory. This car is nearly exactly the way she was rolling out of the dealership nearly 56 years ago. Matador Red with an Ivory White top this is a beautiful 57 Bel Air 2DR Sedan. This car was purchased from a couple who had owned it since 1975 and kept it nearly untouched. They had carpet custom made for the trunk, added a new Headliner and replaced the rear bumper. Before purchasing the car it had not been driven in nearly 20 years. This is a rare find and though this vehicle is 56 years old it only has 78,000 miles on it. It is all original sheet metal and is a very solid car. Normally a vehicle like this would have rust through out but this car has all of its original sheet metal, floor pans, and even the dog legs in the frame are in perfect shape. Only one dog leg has a hole approximately the size of a quarter with all others in perfect condition. This is a rare car in the fact that it was a 6 cylinder that was made in a 2 door Bel Air model that included an automatic, radio and even the bullet nose bumper. It also has a rare Dealer installed 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Klenex Box. Those were options that were not ever found on the 6 cylinder models and were normally reserved for the more expensive V8 models. Even on these models finding a Bel Air with all of these options can be very rare. Getting this car in the condition that it is in makes it even a better find.
