I obtained this car in 1996 from the first owner. She was a Wash. DC resident and the car was garage kept. I have documentation. Since then I’ve had the car in storage. The odometer shows 62K miles and the interior of the car proves it has seen very little daylight. For example, both the dash and the steering wheel are as perfect as new—it is original and there are NO cracks. The car has NEVER been involved in an accident and hence has NO body repairs and NO bondo. It has never been repainted so there will be no surprises later. You will probably want to paint the car as the original paint is starting to fail. There are two small areas of rust shown in the last two photos—the bottom of one out-rigger and on the surface at the bottom rear of the LF quarter panel. Both are VERY minor small repairs. The remainder of the car is absolutely solid. The car runs smooth and I’ve just replaced all gas hoses and flushed (and volume matched) the injectors. Brake calibers are stiff and pads drag from storage. It should free-up with use. This fine vehicle is authentically correct in all details (except for the wheels). Nothing has been modified and nothing has been removed. Jack and handle mounted correctly and probably have never been removed. Tool pouch is missing. I’m selling this car due to my age and the fact that I still own a concours best-of-show winning 1800E and 1800ES.
