This 03 Silverado was totaled out by the previous owners Insurance Company and will be an easy repairable.
The truck has the popular 4.3L V6 that is a gas saver with automatic and 2wd.
The damage is to the rear although you will find some hail and overall scrapes & scratches that will be basic normal wear & tear for a truck this age.
This truck runs great and I can guarantee that because I usually just buy and sell, no repairs, no driving other than a road test but I liked this well enough and since the damage was not major I used this for my personal truck since February of this year. I changed the oil when I started out and have driven 1,827 miles as of today and found no faluts other than what would be expected from a 10 year old vehicle. The miles are average for the year also, about 14,000 per year. Everything works and air blows "ice cold". One thing you can see in the picture of the instrument cluster is that the speedo is buried on the other side and was like that when I got it as it will be when you get it, the odometer and cruise works fine.
The overall truck is in good shape with no rust and some hail as can be seen in pics. The windshield is good as are the air bags & belts. The jack & spare were also removed when I received it as it will be for you.
The color is "Dark Spiral Gray" kind of a neat color but hard to see in pics?
Interior is ok, no rips or tears just dirty carpets as they were when I got it. No odor from smoke or pets.
