Too many projects has led us to a decision to Auction off our 50 Chevy Truck that is in Excellent Condition for its age. This 1950 5 Window cab Truck was spotted in a old weathered garage in Hall County Ga. After several trips of meeting with the gentleman that owned this truck , he agreed to sell it to us. We hauled it to the shop and had it running in no time ! The old dependable 6 cylinder Chevy fired right up. We have since done a tune up and rebuilt the Carburetor. For all practical purposes we removed the old torque tube differential and installed a 10 bolt rear end from a Chevelle. We also installed a later model 3 speed manual transmission and moved the shifter to the floor. Overall the body on this truck is solid enough for a restoration if that is what you prefer. The floors have some rust but is very minimal. The worst part of the cab was the Drivers side cab corner so we have already replaced it. We did not paint it so you can see what you are getting. The truck cranks, idles, runs and drives straight. It does need a new master cylinder for the Brakes to be safe.
