First off, let me say thanks for checking out this auction. In this listing, I will be auctioning off my personal car, which is a 2006 Honda Accord. This will be a "No Reserve" auction and I will be starting the bidding at one Cent! The highest bidder will get this great car. I am selling this car since I am in a position to upgrade. Car Summary: I bought this car in IL with 59,329 miles on it. It now has 93,681 miles. Work and Upgrades include: -2 NEW rear Goodyear ComforTred Touring Tires that were just installed ($150+ each) -Xenon HID front headlights professionally installed ($1000+ upgrade) I would drive the car cross country with no worries. It starts up very quickly and easily. The engine is very, very quiet, and sounds very smooth and is very strong and responsive (Also, I think its important to note that this is coming from a Mercedes CLK55 AMG owner who is a sports car enthusiast :) Id give the engine a 9/10 -Ive always used Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic oil and changed it every 5,000 miles along with a high quality filter. (Either a Mobil 1 or K&N filter) -The transmission shifts smooth and cant even be heard. It is very tough to tell when it is switching gears. It shifts flawlessly! Id give it a 9.5/10 -The front and rear brakes are fine and work great. -The Sounds system sounds very nice and works great. It has a 6-cd changer and all 6 cds are inserted directly in the head unit (No need to go into the trunk) -Gas mileage is fantastic. I get 37 MPG on the highway at 74 MPH and 28 MPG or better in the city with regular gas. -I have the title in hand which means the car is fully paid off. Further, this means you wont have to deal with a bank mailing you the title two weeks from now. This car does have a reconstructed title which is registered in West Virginia. The reason for the former was because it was involved in an accident. It was then professionally repaired by a state licensed body shop, who then had the car inspected and certified by Illinois State Police. The car was then granted a reconstructed title. With that said, you will have no trouble registering this car with the DMV (or MVA depending on where you are geographically located.) The car does need some work done to it, which Ill describe below: 1) Steering wheel airbag needs replaced (See pictures) 2) Horn doesnt work since the airbag needs replaced (this is always the case) 3) Rear-view mirror needs replaced since it is cracked (See pictures) 4) A/C needs recharged in order to blow cold air The check engine light is on, but it has always been on. (even when I purchased the car). Ive never had even the slightest issue with this car, so I didnt pay it much attention. The airbag light is also on (since airbag needs replaced) The service light is also on (since it didnt get reset the last time I took it in for an oil change) I just got an oil change done about 3,000 miles ago, however it has been about 6 months, so it could probably use another one since oil quality does deteriorate with age. The following are things that dont necessarily need done, but I want to document them for the auction: 1) The passenger door squeaks just a bit when the door is opened and closed 2) In order to move the car out of the park gear it must first be started in neutral. Then it can be moved into any gear. 3) Front bumper is cracked on passenger side (see pictures) 4) Front tires have about 20-35% tread left 5) Side skirt is missing on the passenger side (see pictures) 6) The door locks will sometimes lock on their own (both when the engine is running as well as when it is turned off) In order to prevent myself from getting locked out (while the key is in the ignition), I would simply put the window down or take the key out of the ignition 7) Key FOB is cracked. The button to open the trunk always works great. The button to open the doors works sometimes (So, sometimes the key must be inserted into the door in order to open it). The lock button always works and will set the alarm, which also works great. 8) It can probably benefit from an alignment. It was in an accident so it doesnt drive like a new car, but it is still very reliable. 9) The suspension can be heard if you are driving it slowly through a parking lot. It doesnt sound that bad, but it can be heard (probably from about 15 feet away if you were listening for it). Aside from the noises, the suspension works great and is very firm. 10) The gas gauge seems to be slightly off, as it will run out of gas just a hair above the E mark. The solution would be to keep it filled above 1/8 of a tank. 11) The car is seven years old so it does have your typical scratches and dings that one would expect (see pictures) The car plates are expired so you will need to bring your own plates in order to drive it away.
