Up for NO RESERVE AUCTION is this beautiful two-tone Yellow and Beige 1971 Volkswagen Sunroof Super Beetle. Sold new in California, it’s always been here since the day it was new. A true survivor! Only 147K miles since new, that’s an average of only 3500 miles a year. Repainted, rebuilt motor, new seats and headliner in 2006, it was used mostly as an advertisement in front of the owner’s business. If you look real hard you can still see some lettering on the doors, but it’s hardly even visible. Two owners since new, it’s never been raised, lowered or hot-rodded in any way. Always adult owned. If you have ever owned or driven one of these neat little cars, you know how much fun they are! Just running errands is a joy! A lot of people restore these cars and some do a good job. But here’s a car that has never needed restoring! Always been kept in good shape; the glass isn’t even sun faded! Nice Sony stereo works perfectly. Runs and drives great, the motor is smooth and powerful and has just received a full service. Doesn't use or leak oil. The sunroof works perfectly. All lights, wipers, horn and heater work great.
