This is a 1948 Willys CJ-2A, It is 4 wheel drive, with a in and out box Hi and Low. It is the original 4 cylinder engine. It had been sitting in a pole barn for 40 years until I bought it. I pulled off the head lubricated everything well and installed a new head gasket. I also installed a new solex carb, and new plugs. The gas tank was full of old gas, so instead of cleaning it out I installed a brand new steel tank and lines. I also installed a brand new fuel pump. It runs like a champ. I bought a new battery as well. The Brake Master cylinder was not working that well so I also installed a new one along with new wheel cylinders. The Willys was bought new and lived in northern Michigan its whole life. It has very little rust. I repaired the drivers floor by welding in a piece in the area which was rusted through. It is welded flush with the original metal. The optional heater works as do the windshield wipers. It has a Western Plow and Pump that work great as well. It has a Kelly Steel Cab that was on it since it was new. It is the deluxe top with Large windows and headliner. It also has beauty rings, and an AM radio.It is a very hard to find a jeep that has been this well taken care of. All the hard work is done, now it is time to have fun with it. I just don't have the time to enjoy it. I have a clear title.
