For sale is a beautiful 54 Bel Air sedan that was brought to Michigan from the Phoenix area in the 80's.The car was stored indoors for many years by my wife's uncle, after he passed away the car sat until my wife and I bought it in 2004. In 2004 the following were replaced or rebuilt: clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing.carburetorwater pumpmaster cylinderall four wheel cylindersall brake lines (stainless steel)pertronix electronic ignition conversionignition coilspark plugs, and wiresbatteryradiator I also added a coolant over flow bottle, and a set of radial white wall tires. We have enjoyed the car as a summer cruiser since 2004. It has taken us to the woodward dream cruise, parts of the hot rod magazine power tour, and lots of local cruise ins, and of course trips to our favorite ice cream shop. This car is not perfect, it's a great looking older restoration (I don't know the age of the paint or interior work) that is mechanically sound. I would not hesitate to drive this car to work or a few hundred miles just the way it is. On Jul-09-13 at 03:30:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Included with the sale are some extra parts including good used front and rear glass, a spare manual transmission, four bias ply wide white wall tires, a bunch of new 6v bulbs and some other misc. items. If the buyer is interested, I also have most of the parts to put a 292 inline 6 into this car including the langdon's split exhaust manifolds, langdon's engine mount kit, GM marine camshaft and lifters, rebuilt cylinder head with new stainless valves, clifford intake, S-10 axle, etc. This package would be negotiated separately on top of the sale of the car. We live close to the Detroit Metro airport - if a buyer is interested in flying into town to take the vehicle home I'd be happy to meet you at the airport. There are several shipping companies with depots near by - I will work with an out of town buyer to get the vehicle to a depot for shipping out.
