I have up for auction a 1971 Chevy K-5 Blazer CST. The truck was totally restored in 2005 by Cal Customs.Every nut and bolt replaced !!! The truck was purchased new by my father in 1972 in Augusta Ga and has never seen rust,rain,or mud. It had around 275000 miles at the time of the build. The engine and tranny where rebuilt at the same time to include the transfer case. The motor is a 350 with a three speed automatic tranny. It does a small cam with full roller rockers.The mileage is 29000 and some change.The paint is a 1972 chevy Hunter green with a sandtone removeable top. The bumpers are recromed all moldings are new all glass is very clear it does have tint. It has a 4" lift with 35" BFG all terains on Mickey Thomson Beadlock rims. Tires are still brand new.There are side steps that operate on actuaters that drop down 6".The interiour is all custom cloth seats new dash all new panels front and back no cut outs for speakers!!! Carpet is still new absolutly stunning to see. The guages are all original and work properly. Except the speedo which is off do to the lift. There is a Alpine cassette player in the dash that is not hocked up reason is he was to put back the original delco and never got back to it. The dash is NOT cut on.The a/c was also gone thru all componets replaced to include the duct work. It has been stored now for 5 years and still blows cool air. I believe it could use a charge.The entire inside of the cab was also repainted and the underside of the hood and firewall was painted. The under carrige has a rhino liner finish in black mat.The brakes are new the exhaust is all stainless with flowmasters and hooker headers.I did have the oil changed when we took it out of storage I would probably give it a tune up. It fires up the first turn no smoke and runs perfect. I have driven it only to town and back twice and she ran great.I did have the fuel drained and put hightest in.Not sure what the mpg would be as I dont have the time to realy take it out.I remember after the truck was completed my dad had entered it in a few shows and had won several tropies.I am not a big car collector buff like he was so I am sure i have left something out. To sum this up the truck looks absolutly outstanding and drives like a newer vehichle.Almost forgot it has a Elderbrock aluminum intake with a Holley carb.
