Selling my 86 Mustang Svo. 92k original miles. 2.3 turbo, Bone stock and 100% original. Rare car, only 300 or so oxford white SVOs were made in 1986. Grey cloth Recarro seats, NO sunroof, Bi wing option, stock 373 rear gears. I purchased the car back in 2004 from the original owner that had the car in storage since 1994. In 2004 I replaced all the vac lines, turbo oil line, tune up, heater core..etc. This car starts up on the first crank. The car has been on the back burner for the last few years and needs some work. The brakes will need to cleaned, greased and replaced as they are locked up from sitting. It needs some body work and paint. Engine, Trans and Rear The engine sounds great with zero noises or smoke. Turbo spools as it should. All original intercooler, air box, injectors, throttle body etc are all in place. The transmission and rear are smooth with no issues. All fluids where replaced about a year ago with all Motorcraft stuff. Car still has the red Koni shocks from factory; adjustment knob is in the glove box. Interior The interior is all there, including all the rare SVO specific parts. The steering wheel, horn pad and Recarros are all in great shape. Even the dash pad has ZERO cracks. Original radio still in car! Exterior The car does have some rust. The hatch will need to be placed (bi wing still in great shape with no sagging). There is minor surface rust on the rear quarters from previous scratches that exposed the body. I replaced the original doors back in 2004, I used all the original SVO door parts and wiring. I’m regretfully selling. This car will be worth a lot more money in the next few years and is fun to drive. I have a ton of extra parts, including an 8.8 rear, newer 5 lug spindles, Etc.
