Bought a business and this truck was a project sitting in the back. It was supposed to be restored and used as a buss truck. I will not be using it as I have newer trucks. I am not a mechanic so I have put it up for Sale with a low reserve price. It is totally “Rust Free” – This is a really nice truck as far as condition goes and from the other ones I have seen for sale. The hard part has already been done and just needs some finishing touches. The body is straight and in great shape (no dents to repair) - The frame had been blasted and mostly undercoated – some areas were not coated due to future repair work (ie..add better straps for muffler mounts- to replace shocks and bushings etc). Truck bed itself has small body dings and tear in it but nothing that is big deal to repair (I have the repair sheet metal pc for it just needs install). The truck bed bottom has been undercoated both top and bottom totally – also there are some small dents on the truck bed that could be hammered out but has been coated – The floor inside the cab has been sanded down and all and new flooring panels installed – the upper part was undercoated for new bench seat installation (there are 2 bench seats that go with it) and a custom made seat frame made and undercoated- there are 2 sets of new 3 point shoulder/lap belts that are included (needs installation). Lifted front and back with shackles-springs are in great shape – autometer gauges- Grant steering wheel – 289 V8 rebuilt 8mo ago –C-4 auto transmission- B&M shifter- power steering – Ford F150 rear end – Dana front axle – New Tires all around – Turbo Mufflers – Needed body blocks replaced and there are brand new ones still in box – Truck Bed rubber blocks new (not installed yet) - Front drive line is off but transfer case is in place and works-shifters and shaft are there-just need installation. Extra Parts – 4 wheel shifting shafts – original Heater – original Dome light – Handles – Straps – Rear fender support bars – 2 rolls of Dyna Matt type rolled material for inside cab – 1 gal. of undercoating (never opened), all new strap material for replacing the ones on the gas tank and muffler (old ones on but do not look as good as they should). The Bed is sitting on the frame with 4 bolts to hold it down – it will need additional bolts placed to finish securing it down - Body blocks installed (Brand new ones included. New truck bed rubber spacers included. This has literally everything with it you need to finish the restoration – boxes of extra parts and would be a great project to easily finish. I will be running this in a couple local papers so I reserve the right to end the auction early if someone purchases it prior to auction ending.
