Vehicle Detail
1954 Triumph Tiger Cub T20 200cc. Very Rare First year of production, not imported to United States. This little cub has a very unique history behind it. In May of 1955 Capt. Stephen E. Hansen special ordered this motorcycle from the factory in Coventry, England. He was the Capt. of 9th B-29 Bomber air refueling squadron and when he traveled through England he arranged to pick it up directly from the factory. He traveled around the world with this little Cub in the belly of the B-29 for the next six years, until being promoted to Major. I have all the original paperwork including the original sales brochure, registration from England, owners manual, handlebar tag from factory, all registrations and insurance policies, road tax's paid from all the different countries around the world visited. The bike is in original running condition. Frame and engine case numbers match, original seat, grips, levers, headlight, tail light etc. Top end of engine recently professionally rebuilt (stock piston and bore). This is an extremely rare piece of English and American history! All original documentation included. A must for any serious Triumph collector. Please feel free to ask any questions, thanks.
