Up for auction is 96 VW GTI VR6. 177k 5 speed. This car was purchased in Maryland by me in June 2011 because i wanted a 2nd car. It turns out i didn't drive the car much so it sat up until now. The car is not inspected and does not start. Car is being sold as is and must be towed. At the time the car ran fine, was told it could be a possible wiring problem. However it did run great as i drove it from Maryland back to Pennsylvania. Buyer understands the car must be towed. The air-box was just taken out and is inside the car. as well as the missing door molding that is inside the car as well. Some of the interior parts were off just while i was checking a few things but are all included and in side the car. This is a good car for a "VW" person who knows what they are doing with these things. This is my first Vw so and I'm not a mechanic so therefore the car is sold as is. Has complete aftermarket exhaust from headers back. Has been lowered with eibach lowering springs. Front and rear disc brakes in great shape! Has front sway-bar. badgeless Fk automotive grille. enkei 17'' wheels with New tires. 98% tread. Some of the car has a few touch ups over the paint as you can see in the pictures. Does not show much of rust. driverside just under taillight has a small dent. and drivers side rocker molding is missing just the top insert piece. Car could easily be back on the road with the right person to look at it. Engine and trans are in perfect condition. as said before i just cant get it started. I have all the receipts for previous labor and work done. Buyer will provide full payment at the end of auction. And will tow car away. Buyer will not work on this car in my driveway, It is a liability!. Clear PA title. Happy Bidding...
