2005 CHEVROLET CORVETTE I HAD TO RELIST THIS AD BECAUSE EBAY CANCELED MY AD AND SAID IT SHOULD BE LISTED AS "FLOOD TITLE" EVEN THOUGH THE TITLE DOES NOT REFLECT THAT AND I DID/DO MENTION IN THE DESCRIPTION BELOW Hi, and thanks for checking out my vette that I am forced to sell. It has had flood damage from New Jersey. I don't know if it will show up on a CARFAX or not, but just be aware of it. It currently has a CLEAR KANSAS TITLE NOT SHOWING SALVAGE OR FLOOD. I bought this Vette a couple of months ago from a man in Texas that had purchased it from an insurance company. He repaired it by replacing the body control module, wiring harness and front carpet. As seen in the picture, the water was only a couple of inches deep in the floor board. The body control module is located at floor level in the passenger side footwell. There are lots of these cars out there with flood damage titles because of G.M. doing this (Thanks G.M.)!. When an insurance company tries to power up these cars up after the body control module gets wet, it does nothing and they buy it from their client (total it). I purchased it with plans of keeping it for a long time. Unfortunately, because of financial reasons, I must part with it. It had about 8,600 miles on it when I purchased it and now has 12,616 miles, and may go up slightly as I do drive it a little. I can send you copies of the paperwork I received with the car and you'll see that this mileage is correct (WorkBench reported only 6,262 miles on this car on 01/16/2012 when it went in for recall work). It has had absolutely no problems at all while I've had it. It drives like a new car. It has all power options plus Heads Up Display, Navigation, Bose XM / CD / FM / DVD Stereo, Tilt/Power Telescopic Wheel, Power Heated Leather Seats, Dual HVAC Controls, Removable Roof Panel, Fog Lights, Built in Home Link Transmitter, Polished Aluminum Wheels, Good Year F1 Supercar Tires with about 60% tread left, and more. I can send you a picture of the options tag and you can decifer it on the interweb. This car has obviously been garaged the majority, or all, of it's life. The paint shines like new. The only defect I've found in the paint is a small nick at the back of the hood that can only be seen from the drivers seat, and minor scrapes up under the front from going up steep driveways, etc., otherwise, its pretty much perfect. The drivers seat shows minimal wear with no rips, tears or scuffs. The passenger seat looks as good as new as well as the dash, kick panels, door sills, carpets, rubber trim, etc. This is a great looking and running car. I get thumbs ups everywhere I go. Also included is 2 Key Fobs, 1 Key, Owners Manuals, GM Service Manuals, Jacking Pucks, Original Cargo net and Cargo Cover, Clear Vinyl Paint Protector (not installed) and Pre Cut Window Tint (not installed).
