Vehicle Detail

Hi there! You are bidding on my 25th Anniversary Range Rover County LWB (1995). This is a truly remarkable vehicle - the last year of the old British body, built like a tank (over 6000lbs), and with tons of low end power. This Rover also has a 2.5 inch lift for greater clearance and off road maneuverability, Old Man Emu off road shocks, and NCR exhaust. I have had a ton of work done on this over the years (including a full head gasket replacement and a new transmission). The tires are in good shape, as are the brakes. While it still drives well and sounds strong, it's in pretty rough shape in a variety of ways. I flipped it a number of years back, and there are several dents in the roof, the headliner is gone, and the sunroof doesn't open. I can't get it into 4WD Low (stuck in 4WD High). There's no ignition lock (you can start it with a screw driver). The windshield wipers also don't work. There are tears in the Conolly leather in both front seats, and some smaller ones in the back. There is rust in the back door and the front of the hood (see pics). There are a few other problems, all of which are manageable for someone who wants to make this road worthy and is up for a project. Clearly a lot less is required if you plan on using this as an off road vehicle. Just went and took some more pics (those are the summer pics!). I didn't clean it at all, so the pictures clearly show the dirt inside and out. I'm sure a good cleaning will do wonders for it's appearance. I also drove her around a bit, and re-tested everything. It's still driving great - I took it up a 4WD trail to the top of a mountain near my house and it performed admirably, both on the dirt roads and on the trails. I did, however catalog a few flaws that I thought I should share. Last time I drove it, the climate control and radio were working fine (AC cold, heat hot). It now appears that these things are not receiving power. I didn't check fuses, but my guess it that a main power cable to this area is interrupted, since at last check they all worked well. The head and tail lights are all working properly, although there is an aftermarket switch on the stem to shift between lo- and regular lights. There are a couple of window control switches that are missing, although I checked and the rear driver's side and front passenger's side electric windows both work. The seat heaters don't work. Finally, while all of the doors open and close and latch properly, the power locks don't work. I'm including a pair of halogens that mount on the front deer guard. Not sure if they still work, but they did when I had to take them off to pass state inspection. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks for looking! Good luck!!
