This Jetta feels powerful with its 1.9-liter SOHC 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine capable of 100 horsepower and an impresive average of 35 Mpg City and 42 Mpg Hwy . Squeeze down on the gaz pedal and you're rewarded with smooth and quick throttle response that's very satisfying when accelerating onto a freeway. Stomp on it at any speed and the six (6) speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and truly brings this German power-plant to life. The overall condition of the exterior of this vehicle is Fantastic! The paint has a deep sparkling shine and the body is straight with nearly no dents. As you will see in the pictures there are only a few minor cosmetic issues to mention such as some touch up paint on the passenger side front bumper/fender and some minor scratches on the rear bumper. The interior is in immaculate condition. The leather seats looks like they were never sat on and are very clean and are free of any tears or rips. The headliner and door panels are very clean and in excellent condition. The carpet and floormats are exceptionally clean from front to back. The only cosmetic issue to mention on the interior is some very light wear on the steering wheel. Besides the beige factory floormats this jetta will also come equipped with a set of OEM black rubber mats. As far as the electronics, EVERYTHING IS IN WORKING ORDER!! There are no pixels burned out in the radio or instrument cluster, the A/C blows Ice Cold on all speeds, all power equipment such as the power windows, power door locks and radio work as they should. Mechanically this car is in excellent condition!! It has been dealer maintained according to Manufacturers specifications and included in this sale are the dealer service receipts. When we acquired this TDI we took it to a local european specialist shop for a mechanical and safety inspection. There were only a few maintenance items that they took care of which included: Installed New Engine MountsInstalled New Fuel Injection Throttle BodyInstalled New Dual Mass Flywheel Timing belt inspectionNew Oil Filter & Oil Change Our mechanic visually inspected the timing belt and told us that it was in very good condition and seems to have already been replaced at the VW dealer. All in, this was about $1500 worth of service work and the car rides flawlessly! As you can see, we have taken care of all the nitty-gritty in advance leaving the lucky new owner free to enjoy this VW with no worries from day 1. We have driven this vehicle close to 200 miles and can tell you that the engine runs strong, the transmission shifts smoothly and it drives great! It handles tight and has plenty of power throught the gears at surface street speeds and on up to 79mph highway speeds. This VW has Two (2) Uniroyal tires in the front that has 75% of tread left on them and Two (2) Goodyear tires in the rear with 85% of tread left on them.
