partsexpressDallas Store FOR SALE is this 1971 BMW R60/5 in black. The odometer shows almost 34000 miles. I would rate the bike a 8+ on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being showroom new. It is hard to describe a 42 year old motorcycle and the only thing I can do is point out the few flaws I could find. I did just spend quite a bit of money on the engine service which ended up requiring new gaskets and seals. The saddle bags are in fair condition - one of them has a crack in it that is hard to detect (about 2"). The tires are about half worn. There is very little and only surface rust (see pictures) which is almost too little to mention. The bike runs great I would drive it anywhere in the US if I had the time.........please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you like more pictures I can send them to you.
