up for auction I have a 1987 trx250r original collectors bike. this bike was bought new .I purchased this ATV of an older gentlemen he had purchased this for his wife .the bike was road 4/5 times cause she was afraid of it.it was then put in the corner of his garage . I purchased the ATV 6 years ago I was blown away how nice this bike was I thought I was looking at a new ATV . I am the second owner .when moved out of the corner I did notice that the rear axel had very little oxidation on it from sitting for so long .that was the only miner thing .I am a very picky person and wanted it perfect so I bought a brand new Honda OEM rear axel still in the box that I took out just for pictures that will go with the bike for someone to make it perfect. recently I took it out of my walk in basement . this bike is 100% original look closely to the pictures they show how clean it is .the tires look like they were not even used you still see the red line perfectly in them. I took as close as I could for the picture to fit in the camera screen . the bike still has the original air cleaner that it came with when purchased new along with the original spark plug . I do not believe you will find a bike in this condition unless it is new . I have been around eBay for more than 8/9 years and every time I turn around I would see a 86 trx250r for sale or an 88 or 89 how often do you see an 87 as nice as this in this condition show up hardly ever in my opinion this bike is the rarest of all the other 3 trx250r made and I do think this ATV maybe the least amount made . this would make the perfect bike for any collector out there. serious bidders only on the AYV .
